The Way Ministry is a Christ-centered, Holy Spirit led fellowship founded on the Scriptures as the authoritative Word of God for all people and generations. We believe Jesus Christ leads His disciples into abundant life, and calls them to release the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven. In His Name, signs, wonders and miracles naturally follow the sons and daughters of God in the earth. We are a prophetic community always seeking God’s Presence and to hear the Voice of our Heavenly Father.
As an apostolic and prophetic equipping centre, we are mandated to prepare the Bride of Christ for His coming, and to empower the wise virgin church in this 21st century global generation. We believe in the five fold ministry as the New Testament pattern, and that every believer has a destiny to fulfill in the Kingdom, which is the government of God.

Doug and Ellen McFarlane received the call of God to found The Way Ministry in Hamilton, Ontario in 2010. Our passion is to see people catch the fire, go deeper in their relationship with Christ, be strengthened in their faith and fulfill the great call of God on their lives. We love God and we love people. We are blessed to partner and minister alongside of an amazing group of anointed leaders, elders and friends in this journey.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-13
Ellen McFarlane
Ellen received the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 2003 and served in women’s ministry, preaching, teaching, prophecy and intercessory prayer. She has a BA degree in Political Science from McMaster University and an MA inTheological Studies from McMaster Divinity College and Seminary, winning awards in theology and church history. She is an ordained minister with Minister’s Network Canada and has served many years as an associate pastor in the Hamilton and Greater Toronto area.
Ellen has a prophetic insight into the Scriptures and an ability to make the Bible relevant to people of all ages. She currently preaches, teaches and prophetically empowers the body of Christ through a global internet ministry.
